Box Tops for Education is one of the easiest ways our PTA raises money for our school — and it doesn't cost you a single extra penny. Every time you buy participating products and scan your receipt using the free Box Tops app, our school earns cash that goes directly toward things like classroom supplies, technology, field trips, and school programs.
Thousands of products you already buy every week — cereal, snacks, paper towels, produce, and more — qualify. All it takes is a smartphone and a few seconds after each shopping trip.
How It Works
Box Tops for Education has gone digital! There's no more clipping or cutting box tops out of packaging — instead, you simply scan your store receipt with the Box Tops app, and it automatically finds and credits any eligible products you purchased.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Download the free Box Tops app. Search "Box Tops for Education" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install the app on your phone.

Create an account. Sign up with your email address and create a password.

Find and select our school. Use the app's search tool to look up our school by name and location, then select it as the school you want to support. This ensures our PTA gets credit for every Box Top you earn.

Shop as you normally would. Buy your everyday groceries and household items — no need to go out of your way. Just keep your receipt!

Scan your receipt. Open the app after checkout and use the built-in receipt scanner to take a photo of your receipt. The app will automatically scan for participating products.

Watch your Box Tops add up. Any eligible products on your receipt will be automatically credited to our school's account. You'll see your earnings grow right in the app.

Repeat with every shopping trip. The more you shop and scan, the more we raise! Try to scan your receipt within a couple of weeks of your purchase so it isn't too old to process.

What Products Are Eligible?

Thousands of household products qualify for Box Tops, including many items from popular brands you already buy, such as:

Eligible products carry the Box Tops logo on their packaging, but you don't need to look for it while shopping — the app automatically identifies qualifying items when you scan your receipt. New products are added regularly, so it's worth scanning every receipt, even if you're not sure everything on it will qualify.
